Since 1981, Phil havs advised startups and large corporations in industries that have technology-legal needs. Since 1983, Phil has been practicing land use, zoning and planning and won a state-wide major zoning case, Lucas Valley Homeowners vs. County of Marin (1991). Since 1993, Phil has helped Internet businesses as they grew in their ongoing legal needs in intellectual property and other critical aspects. Phil has also helped businesses purchase and maintain their real property assets. That includes CEQA and zoning and planning issues. Phil works with successful businesses, both online and brick-and-mortar, helping them prepare for success right from inception. He helps businesses obtain funding, build and protect IP strategy, and expand internationally. Phil, once part of a network of angel investors, knows what business needs to succeed.
